Description of Duties

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of translation projects, from the initial request to delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
  • Assemble and lead teams of translators, proofreaders, and other necessary staff.
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality.
  • Handle any issues or discrepancies that arise during the translation process.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Stay updated with the latest translation tools and software to optimize workflows.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably within the translation industry.
  • Familiarity with translation management software, such as Trados, Memsource, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
