Science Curriculum Developer

We are looking for a Science Curriculum Developer for an international high school program at a top-ranking school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from August, 2023.

Job Responsibilities

• Create Science curriculum for Grades 1-9 for implementation in the Schools Program. This includes researching and integrating content from Chinese curriculum, while also liaising with school partners to better understand their needs
• Manage teaching and learning resources across the  Schools Program for Grades 1-9 Science. This includes creating, monitoring, and assessing teaching resources, textbooks, lesson plans, and a professional development framework for teachers
• Support Science teachers working in the Schools Program on the update of Schemes of Work while also guiding professional development initiatives
• Nurture regular collaboration and sharing among Science Coordinators/Heads of Department across the Schools Program.
  

About you

• Post graduate qualification in Education
• Experience as Science coordinator or Head of Science
• Competent at communicating cross-culturally
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to achieve consensus in a team setting
• Willingness to adapt to and embrace change
