We are looking for a Head of Libraries for an International School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from August 2022.

 

Job details

  • Lead the production of short and long-term strategic plans for the Libraries in conjunction with the other College librarians
  • Create Job Descriptions and Appraisal Procedures for all levels of Library staff
  • Develop and implement Library policies and procedures (collection development policy, including challenged materials procedure, library handbooks, cataloguing policies)
  • Management of the budget for all three Libraries

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • More than 2 years’ related experience
  • Excellent English communicative skills

 

Salary and benefits

  • Monthly Salary of 24,000 to 28,000 RMB before tax

  • Housing allowance of 4,000 to 9,000 RMB
