CAD – Designer will be a member of Product Design Team in Suzhou and reports to CAD – Manager, Product Development in Bangalore. Will be responsible for Design of Interplex products like range of Connectors and Current Collector Assy for EV.


Responsibilities:
• Use CAD software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
• Working with Application Engineer and customers to perform concept design & redesign at both component and Assembly level.
• Collaborate with others to establish timelines and deliver as per project deliverables.
• Lead and/or contribute as needed in design review meetings.
• Recording results of design reviews and design decision meetings
• Manufacturing support providing technical drawing assistance to the manufacturing floor to assist in achieving specified design requirements.
• Support build to print projects according company requirements.


Education / Knowledge:
• Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent
• Solid Works or similar 3D CAD software with a minimum 5 years of experience.
• Ability to analyze data and situation and come up with creative solutions.
• Strong communication skills - English and Chinese
• Ability to collaborate with others to solve problems.
• Experience in Design of Connectors and Battery Packs for EV Preferred.
• Knowledge in GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Knowledge in design of sheet metal parts and plastic parts.
