STEM Teacher

We are looking for a STEM Teacher for a Bilingual Primary School based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2023.

Job details

• Teach the school’s STEM/Science subjects to primary school students G1 to G6
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with other teachers and be develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments
• Schedule from 7:40am to 4:30pm and one hour for lunch

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree or above in relevant field of study, computer engineering or physics preferred
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in teaching
• Hold a teaching certificate
• TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certificate
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
