International school in Guangzhou is looking for an AEP ELA Teacher


Job Description

  • This is a full-time position for an AEP ELA Teacher
  • Responsible for the teaching of English 3 and English 4 in American high school subjects 
  • Responsible for the integration and teaching of various EAP/ELA academic English courses
  • Counselor who is also a student club
  • Responsible for the organization and counseling of student-related subject competitions
  • Provide letters of recommendation to students when needed
  • Complete other matters assigned by the superior when needed


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, major in literature or other related subjects
  • Familiar with English course requirements for the US National High School syllabus (Common Core)
  • Five years or more of American high school English teaching experience
  • The native language is English, preferably American or Canadian. Extroverted,
  • Team-oriented, and strong in learning.
