Physical Education (PE) Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education Teacher for an International School based in Chengdu. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August, 2026

Job details

• Teach PE subject to secondary school students utilizing the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in sports or related field of study
• At least 3 years’ related teaching experience
• Familiar with the IGCSE or A-Level curriculum
• Excellent English communicative skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 22,000 to 30,000 RMB after tax depending on experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 3,500 RMB
