English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school based in Shenzhen. This position is available in the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year in August 2026.

Job responsibilities

• Teach English to secondary school students and ensure an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Deliver AP Language and Composition classes to high school students
• Prepare lessons and lectures, develop assessments, mark student work, and write report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Education, English, Literature, or a related subject, or holding relevant teaching qualifications
• Able to teach AP Language and Composition
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach pupils of all abilities
• Previous experience in an international school preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 26,000 RMB to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
