High School English Teacher

We are looking for an English subject teacher for a private High School based in Shanghai. This position is avaiable from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

This is a high school only international program in Shanghai with a focused, university preparatory approach. With over 500 students and a small team of around six expat teachers, the campus offers a close knit learning environment where students can benefit from consistent academic support, clear expectations, and pathways aligned with international study goals. Job details

• Teach the subject of English to high school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above
• More than 2 years related teaching experience
• Passionate and Energetic in teaching
• Meet the visa eligibility criteria for English teaching

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
