University Teacher Psychology

We are looking for a Psychology Teacher for a University based in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in September 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level Psychology classes and support students’ language development
• Plan lessons and prepare teaching materials aligned with program outcomes
• Design and administer assessments including exams
• Complete grading and provide timely feedback
• Maintain accurate teaching records and follow academic requirements
• Participate in meetings and coordinate with relevant departments as needed
• Support a positive classroom environment and student engagement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above
• At least 2 years of teaching experience
• College-level teaching experience preferred
• TEFL or TESOL certificate required
• Experience teaching university students preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly base salary of 16,000 to 18,000 RMB commensurate with qualifications and experience
• Salary increase may be offered based on qualifications and experience
• Round-trip airfare reimbursement from home country to China up to CNY 14,000
• Travel allowance CNY 2,000–6,000 per academic year based on qualifications
• Overtime allowance CNY 150–300 per hour based on tasks and qualifications
• One month paid holiday around February during Spring Festival plus other non-work holidays
• Apartment provided close to or on campus with free rent or rental allowance
• Health insurance provided with premium cap of CNY 10,000 per academic year
• Covers hospitalization and inpatient fees
