Science and Mathematics

We are looking for a Science and Mathematics Teacher for an International School in Yiwu. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of science and/or mathematics to primary and middle school students and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Qualification

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate, such as BC, PGCE/iPGCE & QTS, SACE
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education
• Excellent communications skills
• Good understanding of teaching in American or Canada context

• Annual salary up to 76,500 Canadian dollars per year commensurate with experience and qualifications
