Primary School Teacher

We are looking for a Primary Homeroom Teacher for an international school based in Sanya. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2025.

This international K-12 school incorporates elements of both Chinese and Western cultures in its kindergarten, primary, middle, and high school divisions. Job responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework
• Foster inquiry-based learning and encourage students to take ownership of their learning
• Integrate transdisciplinary themes, concepts, and skills into daily teaching
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
• Use a variety of assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform teaching practices
• Work closely with colleagues to plan and implement units of inquiry
• Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication, including parent-teacher conferences and written reports

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• IB experience is preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 18,000 to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 5,000 RMB
