We are looking for a Primary Homeroom Teacher (Grade 2) for an International School based in Ningbo. This is a full-time position starting from February, 2023.


About the school

Top international school based in Ningbo’s Sanjiangkou area. The school has kindergarten and a primary division where it integrates China’s national curriculum an IB curriculum concepts to meet educational needs for all students and promote a strong international outlook.  


Job details

  • Maintaining a caring, safe, and nurturing environment in class, observing health and safety protocols at all times
  • Providing developmentally appropriate learning opportunities for each child
  • Being committed to and experienced in project-based learning
  • Assisting in the selection of books, equipment, and other instructional materials
  • Ensuring that the testing, placement, and instruction of students align with their identified needs
  • Participating in the development and implementation of a tutoring and mentoring program for students in order to insure student support and academic success


Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree 
  • At least 2 years’ experience in the Elementary classroom
  • Intercultural competence and the ability to foster collaboration and trust
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office, virtual meeting spaces 
  • Familiarity with digital learner management systems
  • Only teachers with official permission to work will be considered – teachers who are new to China will be assisted to ensure they comply with immigration and work regulations.
