Physical Education (PE) Teacher

We are looking for a Physical Education (PE) Teacher for an international school in Qingdao. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

Located in Qingdao’s Chengyang District, this private boarding school offers a bilingual education that combines the Chinese national curriculum with British IGCSE, A-Level and AP programs. Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of PE to secondary school students utilizing the A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject 
• Good understanding of teaching IGCSE/A-level curriculum

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
