Music Teacher

We are looking for a Whole School Music Teacher for an International School based in Nanning. This is a full-time position starting from August 2024.

About the school

Bilingual school situated in Yongning District of Nanning provides a complete K-12 education with an international focus. It comprises an early year’s center catering to pupils aged between 2 to 6 years and a separate day and boarding school for primary, middle, and high school students (aged 6 to 18 years) that follows a bilingual British curriculum. 

Job details

• Teach the school’s music curriculum to school students from kindergarten to middle school
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above
• More than 2 years related working experience
• Hold a teaching certificate, UK PGCE or QTS
• Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England including EYFS, KS1, KS2, KS3, IGCSE/GCSE, and A Levels as appropriate
• Excellent English communication skills

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 25,000 to 35,000 RMB before tax
• Housing allowance is 5,000 RMB
• Public holidays
• Fully paid Summer and Winter holidays
