High School Science Teacher

We are looking for a Science Teacher for an international school based in Wuhan. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in February 2023.

About the school

This international high school is based in Wuhan, China and consists of fourteen branches all over the country. The Wuhan campus is situated in the Jiang’an area and is designed to accommodate students in grades 9-12. This school has a unique educational system, which integrates the American Common Core style curriculum and the Chinese national curriculum to provide the best learning environment for its students.

Job details

• Teach the school’s Science subject such as Math, Biology, Physics courses to school high school students
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Hold or participate in parents’ meetings
• Teaching schedule consists of 25 classes per week         

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher majoring in the relevant subject
• Minimum of two years teaching experience
• Teaching certifications preferred
• Previous experience in an international school preferred
• Eligible to apply the work visa

Compensation package

• Monthly base salary of up to 28,000 RMB
• Housing Allowance of 3000 RMB per month
• Contract completion of 12,000 RMB
