Head of Physics

We are looking for a Head of Physics for an international school in Qingdao. This is a full-time position starting in August 2025.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of Physics to high school students utilizing A-Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Lead and manage the Physics Department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
• Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to ensure academic success
• Develop departmental policies, curriculum plans, and assessment strategies
• Mentor and support physics teachers, fostering continuous growth
• Manage the department’s budget and oversee laboratory maintenance and equipment

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Excellent communications skills
• Good understanding of teaching in British context

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary is above 28,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
