English Literature Teacher

We are looking for an English Literature Teacher for an international school in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in February 2026.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English literature to high school students utilizing the A Level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate preferred
• Three or more years teaching experience in the subject
• Familiar with A Level context

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary from 25,000 to 38,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Monthly housing allowance of 4,000 RMB
