We are looking for an English Literature Teacher for an international school based in Sanya. This position is available from the upcoming 2026-27 academic year in August 2026.

About the school
Located in Sanya, commonly known as the Hawaii of China. This international K-12 school incorporates elements of both Chinese and Western cultures in its kindergarten, primary, middle, and high school divisions. With a team of educators from around the world, the school offers a bilingual education that is forward-thinking and that prepares students to be successful in a global setting.
 
Job responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering English literature lessons to high school students
  • Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
  • Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments
  • Schedule from Monday to Friday from 8:30am till 4:30pm and approx. 25 teaching classes a week
 
Job requirements
  • Bachelor degree or above in English Literature, Education (English Specialization) or TESOL
  • At least 3 years of related teaching experience
  • Excellent communications skills

Salary and benefits
  • Monthly salary of 15,000 to 25,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Monthly housing allowance of 5,000 RMB
