Drama Teacher

We are looking for a Drama subject teacher for an International School based in Xian. This is a full-time position starting from August 2023 academic year. 

About the school

 Xian has been home to this international school since 2003 and it is the city's first institution to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The school provides educational programs ranging from the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, to the Diploma Programme, covering all educational levels from kindergarten to high school.

Job responsibilities

• Teach school's Drama courses to students aged from 11 to 18 years old
• Prepare lessons, lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Asses and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Hold/participate in parents’ meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above
• At least 2 years related subject teaching experiences
• Teaching certification or bachelor degree in education
• A good understanding of the IB MYP drama and DP Theatre curriculum
  
• Excellent English communication skills
• Positive work attitude and passion on teaching.

Salary and benefits:

• 23,500 to 29,500 RMB per month
