Drama Teacher

We are looking for a Drama Teacher for an international school based in Shanghai. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.

Job details

• Teach drama to students in secondary education utilizing the MYP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Drama, or a related field
• MYP teaching experience or other IB teaching experience
• Strong understanding of the MYP curriculum framework and assessment criteria
• Commitment to education

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 30,000 to 35,000 RMB commensurate with qualifications and experience
