In this role you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients and for developing and securing new business for the Company. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of business developers the marketing and account servicing teams. The position requires a solid understating of digital marketing and excellent communication skills. Understanding of the tourism industry is also a big plus.

 

Responsibilities

  1. Locate develop negotiate and close sales opportunities

  2. Identify potential clients and the decision makers within the client organization and build relationships into sales opportunities

  3. Develop new markets in regions and travel industry verticals

  4. Grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients

  5. Create tailor made professional and effective proposals and pitches

  6. Attend industry functions such as events and conferences to source qualified leads improve the Company’s visibility in the industry

  7. Using your knowledge of the market and competitors identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators in collaboration with the marketing team

  8. Pro-actively communicate with management and team members as well as across the Company’s functional teams to optimize client servicing and upsale opportunities


 

Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in business development/sales

  • Experience in digital marketing and/or travel a big plus

  • Demonstrated skills knowledge and experience in the creation and execution of professional proposals and presentations

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and build networks across the industry

  • Ability to quickly develop new commercial relationships and earn trust

  • Multicultural work experience preferred especially in China

  • Strong spoken and written English and Mandarin skills

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPoint and Excel
