Biology Teacher

We are looking for a Middle School Biology Teacher for an international school in Chengdu. This position is available from the upcoming 2026–27 academic year in August, 2026.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of Biology to middle school students utilizing an American international curriculum and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in your subject area
• Strong communication skills
• Experience working in a bilingual setting preferred
• At least two years as the lead teacher in a classroom

Salary and benefits

• Monthly salary of 30,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications
