Primary Homeroom Teacher

We are looking for an English Homeroom Teacher for an International Primary School based in Guangzhou. This is a full-time position starting from February 2023.

Job Description

• Teaching the English, mathematics, science/social studies, personal/social class, and home room classes to Primary school students aging 6-12 years old
• Developing the curriculum, planning lessons and sequences of lessons to meet student’s individual learning needs and to ensure student’s progression  
• Using flexible groupings and structured inquiry to deliver high quality lessons
• Using a range of assessment and reporting methods that show student’s achievement in relation to learning outcomes. Keeping student achievement data up-to-date on reporting software for communicating mastery levels and goals to appropriate members of the school community.
• Providing clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, or above
• At least 2 years’ IB experience
• TEFL, TESOL or other certificates preferred
• Eligible to apply for the teaching work visa

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly salary of 28,000 to 32,000 RMB/month
