English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for a Public School based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from August 2022.

Job details

• Teach the school’s English curriculum to Grade 7 and G9-11 students aging 13 and 15-17
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Co-teach with Chinese teachers and be prepared to develop and improve school-based curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, maximum 25-30 teaching hours per week
• Class scale: less than 25

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or above
• Major in English, liberal arts or social science
• At least 2 years English teaching experience in middle school
• Hold a teaching certificate
• Excellent English communication skills
• For G7, be familiar with Cambridge International courses preferred

Salary and benefits

• Monthly Salary of 26,000 RMB before tax (including housing allowance)
