Senior English Teacher

We are looking to hire a passionate Senior English Subject teacher for a middle school based in Suzhou.

• Design and strictly follow lesson plans, teaching objectives and syllabus with co-teachers
• Fully prepare and review the lesson in advance together with co-teachers
• Prepare the teaching and learning according to the course handbooks
• Daily communication with co-teachers; weekly and monthly meetings with co-teachers to ensure continuity of teaching content and teaching pace
• Supervise teachers’ performance according to the teaching and inspection handbooks.
• Organise and attend extracurricular activities, such as English Corner, at least twice a week
• Grade students’ assignments and test papers, follow-up with students and parents if necessary
• Interact with both parents and students in a way that is educational and fun
• Participate in teacher training sessions and assessments held by senior teachers and schools

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching
• Bachelor degree or higher
• Sponsored accreditations including Trinity CertTESOL, Cambridge TKT, Trinity DipTESOL and DELTM etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Native English speaker (due to visa regulations)
• Clean criminal background check
• Newly qualified PGCE teachers are welcome
• Able to teach junior high school students

Salary and benefits

• Competitive local salary ( ¥250,000 - ¥300,000 annual)
