  • Oversees content strategies and content development for the shopping channel including city-level and store-level shopping guides as well as curated lists for top places to shop

  • Collaborate closely with different teams destination experts  and industry associations to validate content lists and ensure quality

  • Manage content partners/freelancers to develop quality content

  • Support the BD team on developing sponsored shopping content for partners

  • Work with global localization teams to manage content translation into various languages including but not limited to English Simplified Chinese Traditional Chinese and Japanese.

  • Manage junior editors to ensure quality execution of city-level and POI-level content.


 

Position Requirements:

    "
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top-tier university preferably in Journalism English or Communications

  • 7+ years of working experience in an editor- related function ideally with experience working for a top travel or shopping-related publisher

  • Native English speaker with excellent editorial skills Chinese languages skills a definite asset additional language skills a plus

  • Strong research organizational interpersonal and analytical experience

  • Have a great sense of editorial judgment in terms of what is on-brand and appropriate for the TripAdvisor audience

  • Digital-savvy with good knowledge of online content SEO creative use of photos and social media platforms

  • People management experience

  • A self-starter and a team player with great work ethics positive energy  and can-do attitude

  • Ability to work effectively on multiple projects and under a tight deadline



Compensation
Salary range is RMB 20 000/m (pre-tax) and this is a FT position " with annual bonus (company standard).""
